The Dumaguete City Local and Overseas Job Fair was successfully conducted last August 22, 2015 (Saturday) in Robinsons Place, Dumaguete.
The activity started with a short program emceed by Mr. Syril Repe. Guest speakers were City Councilor Hon. Peter Catan, Chairman committee on Labor & Employment; Ms. Ma. Teresa Tanquiamco, OIC of DOLE-NOFO; Mr. Roy Ligan of POEA Cebu; and City Administrator, Mr. William Ablong.
Overseas Recruitment Agencies who participated in the Job Fair Activity were: East West Placement Center Inc. (Hermelyne Ruelo); Philasia Human Resources Inc. (Rosemarie Kawasaki and Angel Gonzales); Camox Philippines Inc. (Adela Sabanal); Century High HR Inc. (Maria Lina Rañin); and Concept Placement Resources Inc. (Ma. Theresa Cumpio).
Local companies who took part in the activity were: Simon Group of Companies, Paramount Human Resource Multi Purpose Cooperative, Extraordinaire Janitorial & Manpower Services, Cebu Mitsumi Inc., Lee Super Plaza, Sans Rival, Qualfon, SPI Global, Camella Dumaguete, World Wide Steel and Sta. Monica Beach Club.
